Second visit in two years for our family gathering of 22. Aged 12 months - 78 Only 50 minutes drive for us. Plenty of space and lots to keep everyone amused, large garden, plenty outdoor seating, large games room and play room for younger kids, hot tub, parking, bar... Spotlessly clean, all rooms ensuite, kitchen well equipped, hot plates were a win at meal times. Great communication from company. You won't be disappointed.

If you want a break with family, I would recommend The Big Pink House. It's absolutely perfect, games room with pool table air hokey and darts. It's clean and tidy sleeps 22 all rooms have showers it has a hot tub. I would recommend this for a good weekend.

Fantastic place to rent. The owners were on hand with answers to any queries. Perfect place to stay for a family party. There was a large age range and it perfectly catered for everyone; games room, playroom, hot tub and bar. The fact that it was an old pub converted into a holiday home was the icing on the cake for us. Would highly recommend.

Loved it! We have run organised weekends for walking groups for the last 3 years and this was the best equippied and cleanest. You want for nothing in the kitchen. The bluetooth speaker is an excellent addition. The TV room is amazing AND the pool room is the cherry on the cake! Beds comfy? Sheets gorgeous, towels a massive bonus and ensuite a godsend...as we pulled out we made the commitment to book again for next year!

This is the perfect place for the whole family to get together. It was really spacious inside and had a good well stocked kitchen. It was also in a great location to explore the Northern Lakes.

We booked this for a party of 15 on a "lad's retreat", although everything is fitted and furnished to a high standard and would be suitable for any large group. There's a pool table and dart board but I'd recommend you bring your own equipment if you want to play lots (the cues aren't great!). Ideally located a short drive away from both Keswick and Carlisle but being outside the national park boundary, the price was very good although we did book for January. Some of us walked and played golf nearby when the sun came out but there is plenty to do indoors too.

The cheapest and the best place to stay in the heart of the Lake District Big group upto 22 people? This is the place to be Guaranteed you won't find a place as big and cosy as this for a price which no one can beat during peak seasons It has a bar aswel where you can hire locale beer and ale, we hired a hot tub to go with the property for the week, also available is archery which can be St up at the property. It's an absolute must Been there twice in two years and looking to go again next year!!!
